Features

Smelting: 

-  Components: high hardenability, good wearing resistance 

-  Technic: EAF+LF+VD, produced high purity and good performance steels. 

Heat Treatment:

-  Anneal: 820-880°C, Hardness: ≤229HB

-  Quenching: 1010-1030°C, fast cooled 

-  Tempering: 550-650°C, tempering three times and will not commend to temper in highest temperature.  

-  Hardness: 43-53HRC

-  High hardenability and section below 400mm can harden completely; the good hardness and wearing-resistance can be maintained even at 300-400°C. 

-  The melting point of this steel is low, so the heating temperature cannot be too high. 

-  The thermal conductivity is poor and it must be heated slowly. 

-  It needs to be cooled slowly after forging, which is to avoid cracking. 

-  It can be put into the pit used for preheating and it can be annealed while it is cooled to 400-500°C. 

-  Normally tempering three times and each time about 1 to 1.5 hours.
